David has over 20 years of experience with the offshore industry, including design, fabrication, installation, operation and maintenance, refurbishment, development and decommissioning. The bulk of David’s experience prior to forming GCL was with CJB-Earl and Wright and its successors (10 years) and with Mobil North Sea Limited (12 years). His honours degree is in Civil Engineering, he is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Petroleum and the Society of Underwater Technology. |
Ed Terry has 20 years of experience in the offshore contracting industry including 9 years senior management experience managing the safety and environmental design discipline for Brown & Root’s London office. He is experienced in HSE management on design projects including managing sub-contracted technical input. He has contributed to UKOOA initiatives, especially Fire & Explosion Hazard Management Guidance and Risk Based Decision Framework. |

| David is or has been involved in several initiatives which include the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the HSE’s Offshore Safety Research Panel (previously the Offshore Research Strategy Board), ISO and BSI committees and conference organising committees.
